  Twenty four crews took part in the 2006 Classic Safari Challenge - from Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, through Malawi, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana. Mozambique and Swaziland.

  Occasional reports from our roving reporter when he can break away from the activities and pleasures on the road from Dar es Salaam to Cape Town long enough to telegraph some jottings home.

The Endurance Rally Association's 2nd Safari Classic ran in early 2006 taking crews on an African adventure from Dar es Salaam to Cape Town.
